Nonprofit seeks funds for fireworks show

Funds are still needed to support the Fourth of July firework celebration at Maunalua Bay. While the pyrotechnic show may be for the public, it's not for the Maunalua Communities Foundation, the event's sponsor.

To help raise monies, Bobby Moderow of the trio Maunalua, pictured right, will perform during a pre-Fourth of July party at Cha Cha Cha Salsaria, Saturday, June 23, from 3-5 p.m. The event will feature a no-host bar, free early pupu and commemorative T-shirts for sale.
