Break out your go-go boots, miniskirts, and bell bottoms! Come to Palama Settlement and watch a celebrity cast portray key suspects in "Hide and Seek", a comedic murder mystery play set in the 1960s. After the play, use your sleuthing skills to interrogate suspects and examine clues to crack the case. Teams will compete against each other to solve the mystery!
Proceeds from Mystery Night will benefit Palama Settlement's Pakolea Program, a youth sports initiative that emphasizes building youth character, athletic abilities, and academic success. Pakolea, which means “train to grow straight”, targets youth from low-income households who are particularly susceptible to negative street influences such as gangs, delinquency, alcohol and drug abuse, smoking, and truancy. Participants train with football, basketball, and volleyball coaches, and hear from athlete guest speakers and take field trips to local college games.
Tickets are $60 per individual or $220 per team of 4 players. The ticket price includes heavy pupus and two drink tickets. Teams are welcome to bring an additional bottle of wine or 12-pack of beer for a $10 corkage fee (max $20 corkage fee per team). A portion of the ticket sale is tax deductible.
