Starting Wednesday, July 5, 2017 Par Hawaii is pumping up support for Special Olympics Hawai’i. The company’s annual Fueling Dreams campaign returns for its 12th year, allowing island drivers to make a donation to Special Olympics Hawai’i at any one of 45 participating Hele, 76 and Tesoro stations throughout O’ahu, Kauai, Hawai’i Island and Maui. All donations received will provide opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities to train and compete in the state free of charge, including participation in the upcoming Holiday Classic, scheduled for November 11 to 12, 2017.

Par Hawaii, marketer of the Hele, 76 and Tesoro brands of gasoline in the islands, has been a strong supporter of Special Olympics Hawai’i for more than 27 years.

As part of the campaign, which runs through August 8, 2017, Special Olympics Hawai’i and Par Hawaii will give away three $500 gift cards. Those who donate $5 will receive one entry; those who donate $20 will receive five entries. The more entry blanks you enter, the better your chances are to win a $500 Hele, 76 or VISA/American Express gift card.  A donation is not required to enter the drawing. For a free entry blank, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Special Olympics Hawai‘i, P.O. Box 3295, Honolulu, Hawai‘i 96801.
