SUZANNE MCCLELLAN

PUBLISHER

With her extensive management background in print, radio and television, Suzanne brings a cache of knowledge that has earned her praise from her colleagues and respect among her staff. After receiving a degree in Communication Arts, Suzanne began a career with Clear Channel in her home state of Virginia. She would eventually move to New Orleans to assume the position of general sales manager for Entercom, before joining Where Magazine and becoming Where Hawaii group publisher. 

SIMPLICIO PARAGAS

SENIOR EDITOR

As the former Dining Out editor and “Inside Scoop” columnist for The Honolulu Advertiser, Simplicio has covered the local dining scene for more than a decade. He brings humor and life to his stories, which have included travelogues that have chronicled visits to French Polynesia and the Society Islands to Portland, Oregon. In future issues, Simplicio will continue his colorful reports both “Inside” the dining and entertainment scene in Hawaii and “Outside” with his travel excursions beginning with Vietnam.

REBECCA PIKE

MANAGING EDITOR

Hawaii is not the antipode of Rebecca Pike's hometown of New York City, but it's very different in very many ways, and that's why she loves it. Rebecca has been an editor at Where Hawaii since 2008, shortly after she relocated to Oahu. In her spare time she enjoys stand-up paddle and cooking. She now considers the island her home, and is delighted to be able to raise her daughter here.

KRISTEN NEMOTO

ASSISTANT EDITOR

Kristen is a relative newcomer to the industry having recently earned her master's degree in journalism from DePaul University in Chicago. She hopes to establish herself locally with her retail discoveries and adventurous buys in InsideOut. She also loves to travel, eat healthy and is a yoga enthusiast. She grew up in Hawaii. 

RANDY T. FUJIMORI

PHOTOGRAPHER

Randy T. Fujimori is an award-winning photographer with more than 30 years of professional experience. Randy found his niche at The Honolulu Advertiser where he spent 25 years as Special Features Photographer. His work has appeared in Dining Out, Ala Moana Center and Ward Warehouse supplements and many other special publications. He has won numerous awards for his craft in juried exhibitions and print competitions, including The Mayor’s Award of Excellence and Best in Show.

ART DIRECTOR

With more than 10 years of experience, Teri brings a keen sense of design to all projects. When not planted at her desk, she enjoys listening to indie music, reading, paining and anything other than staring at a computer screen.
